The Newcastle United striker has confirmed that he has no intention of moving away from Saint James’ Park stadium in the present transfer window and he has dismissed all the talk surrounding his future with the Magpies as rumours...
The Newcastle United forward has been linked to a move away from Tyneside to the likes of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786, Manchester United and even Manchester City in some cases but in his latest remarks, he has dismissed all of this talk as rumours.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Demba-Ba-c10812 was instrumental in Newcastle United’s rise to the top half of the Premier League table last season as he along with Cisse carried the Magpies on their shoulders.
The Senegalese forward showcased that he can kick around with the big boys as he scored against the likes of Manchester United and helped Newcastle launch a bid for a top four finish which would’ve given them a UEFA Champions
League qualification place. In the end, the Magpies missed out on Champions League qualification but that should not take anything away from Demba Ba’s efforts for them as he scored 16 goals in the league season.
It is being speculated that Ba has a 7 million pound release clause in his contract with Newcastle United and that is why several clubs are interested to sign him on the cheap. Turkish club Galatasaray are also interested but
it still remains to be seen if any concrete offers are made to Newcastle United before the end of the transfer window.
One thing is for sure that if Ba departs from the Tyneside giants, Newcastle will find it hard to replace him in the same price range given that current inflationary trend in the summer transfer market. Ba revealed his thoughts
through a social networking site as he said, "So much stuff about me lately. Rumours are rumours! Just forget about it."
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alan-c4244 Pardew will do all in his power to keep Demba Ba at the club as Newcastle United will aim for UEFA Champions League qualification in the new season and they have a better chance of doing so with Ba in their ranks rather than
playing for another high profile club in the same league.
