Elena Dementieva already has two titles for 2010 (Sydney and Paris [Indoors]), but can the world No. 7 make it three in Dubai?

Dementieva is one of the in-form players of the WTA Tour at present, if not the in-form player, so her fifth seeding is a little deceptive here. The Russian could definitely win it – but the question is how she’ll hold up physically after three matches in Paris that went the distance. There will be players in the draw a lot more rested than Dementieva, and that might prove her undoing.
