Demesne Loopy to storm through the A2 500M Flat at Sheffield
6 hounds will be competing at Sheffield in the A2 500M Flat scheduled to take place on 18th February, 2012. The runners will be competing for a prize worth £102.
The race line-up consists of Demesne Loopy, Varra Bruno, Droopys Domingo, Royston Donna, Cheetham Fantasy, and Black Anita.
Demesne Loopy, daughter of Golostar Lee out of Malbay Chaz, whelped in July 2008, is gaining popularity among the punters.
She finished in 1st place on 21st January, 2012, in the A2 500M Flat when she beat Lethal Tiger by a length in 30.30 seconds.
In her next race, she suffered a bit of a setback as she finished second to Allen Tornado on 6th February, 2012, in the www.Sheffieldretiredgreyhounds.co.uk sponsored race.
Both of these races covered a distance of 500 metres at Sheffield.
Varra Bruno, son of Head Bound out of Varra Lark, is not expected to lead the race.
He was pitched down by a grade but no major chance is expected from his performance.
He finished in 3rd place on 7th February, 2012, at Sheffield, in The Night Continues At Napoleons Casino.
Droopys Domingo, son of Rumble Impact out of Lady Sky, whelped in September 2009, is expected to have a decent run. He finished in 3rd place in the A2 500M Flat at Sheffield on 31st January, 2012.
His performance was redeemed in the next race, A2 500M Flat at Sheffield, which took place on 7th February, 2012. He finished in second place, defeated by French Lace by ½ a length.
Royston Donna, daughter of Ace Hi Rumble out of Simply Vintage, ran in a lower grade last time.
It is speculated that she may not adapt to racing in this grade quickly.
She finished first at Sheffield in the A3 500M Flat, held on 7th February, 2012.
Cheetham Fantasy, whelped to Premier Fantasy out of Crazy Jane in July 2009, is up for a tough competition.
The prize may be out of reach for her as her odds of winning have been calculated as 9 to 2.
She finished in 4th place in her last race at Sheffield, the A2 500M Flat, held on 13th February, 2012.
Black Anita, daughter of Droopys Maldini out of Step Lightly, is not a top contender for this race despite her first place finish in the last race on 14th February, 2012.
She beat Cals Goinghome by 3 ¼ lengths in 29.49 seconds in the Book Now At www.owlertonstadium.co.uk, at Sheffield.
The prediction, popular in the betting forecast is that Demesne Loopy will be in the lead. Her odds of winning are 9 to 4.
The second place may end in dead heat as Royston Donna and Droopys Domingo will be looking to secure it. Both of them have 7 to 2 odds of winning.
Despite the prediction, either of these hounds can beat the odds and claim first place.
