Demesne Tornado – One of the most consistent performers of 2012
Demesne Tornado has been one of the most consistent performers of the 2012 season and his team will be hoping that he continues delivering some strong results in the years to come.
Although, the young greyhound does not have a lot of experience, yet he has been able to compete at the highest level against some extremely good challengers. Moreover, he has managed to produce some excellent results, which shows that he is a confident
performer and will earn a lot of respect in the future.
He has got a very good speed, which has enabled him to be strong in shorter distance events. He still needs some time before getting in a position to fight for victories in lengthy races.
The E. Parker’s trained hound debuted in March 2012 with a few trail events. He initially ran over longer distances and it was pretty much clear that his stamina was not good enough to help him in such formats.
However, the talented runner found out pretty early that his strength was his speed, which could win him some important competitions. He mostly ran at Sheffield and seems to enjoy the conditions at this venue.
After doing a very good job in several D1 races, he seemed to be ready for Grade OR contests. There was immense pressure on him, when he first appeared in this class and the bookies did not expect him to succeed straight away.
However, the brindle dog surprised one and all with his speed and stormed to the top of the table by one length. He entered from trap number five and needed to be extremely quick right from the start until the end. This was exactly what he did and earned
a cash prize of £200 from the 280 metres contest.
This was just a beginning for Swords Prince’s son out of Demesne Chaz and he continued to win more races for his team in the future. He was competitive on most of the occasions and soon became a potent threat for his opponents at the highest level of the
sport. If he continues delivering results with consistency, his name will be remembered as one of the most dominant greyhounds ever.
