Demesne Tornado likely to win The Owlerton Bookmakers Sprint
The E. Parker-trained brindle dog, Demesne Tornado, seems to be strong enough on the card of The Owlerton Bookmakers Sprint, a high-stakes Open Race that is going to take place at Sheffield racecourse on Tuesday night, July 3.
The £200 race over 280 meters is scheduled to start at 20:43 (GMT). Demesne Tornado will break from the black box to take on five worthy competitors.
The two-year-old novice runner owns a decent track record. He has performed equally well in all the major formats of the game including T1, T3, T2, D1 and OR.
After debuting with a runner-up rank on March 14, 2012, the dashing dog moved ahead to bag a couple of consecutive conquests in the second half of April.
His first OR victory came on May 22 when the brilliant runner lifted the ace title of The Owlerton Bookmakers Sprint over 280 meter at the same venue where he is going to sizzle tonight.
After finishing third in another OR race on May 29, the talented son of Swords Prince out of Demesne Chaz elegantly grabbed a grand victory in a T2 event on June 20.
The young and energetic hound finished 5th in his last start on June 26. These stats show that the dog is well-familiar with the track and the format that he will experience in the coming contest.
If Demesne Tornado manages to apply his utmost skills, he will surely have up to 90 percent chances to finish first in The Owlerton Bookmakers Sprint.
Borna Cannon is the only hound who can disturb him on his way towards the finish line. The J. Sharp-trained black dog started his career with a glorious triumph on November 8, 2011----he won this race by the huge margin of 7 lengths.
The son of Big Daddy Cool out of Borna Moon finished as a runner-up in his only OR outing on June 17. This was Brandon Dash – Div over 263 meters, held at Coventry on June 17.
Thus, the situation depicts that there will be a tough tug of war between Borna Cannon and Demesne Tornado----the latter one is favourite. Let us see who of the two carries the day. Good luck to the duo.
