Uncasville, Connecticut, United States.
The duo headlined the Saturday night show and somewhat collected a negative response from the boxing fanatics since Demetrius ended things up swiftly by his vicious knockout.
Andrade, 24, was entering in his 17th battle and boasted an undefeated win streak with 11 of his total 17 wins by knockout. The young Providence proud is a top-ranked pugilists who possessed clear upper hand over his Saturday night opponent, Rudy.
Rudy, 30, was also in his 17th career bout but exhibited a bit tarnished resume. The Chicago hailing belligerent not only resides too far in the rankings but has emerged victorious in just 12 bouts. One of the most thrilling aspects that attracted the crowd
was the knockout ability that both men possessed.
Cisneros has also nailed 11 of his opponents by knockout and is therefore also famous as a powerful jab thrower just like Demetrius. Andrade was coming from an impressive second round technical knockout win over Angel Hernandez whereas Rudy collected a seventh
round technical knockout loss to Jonathan Gonzalez in his last bout.
The southpaw Andrade started things off in an authoritative way and did not show any sign of intimidation. Demetrius’ jabs were so powerful that Rudy was hardly able to absorb them and lost his senses in the very initial jabs.
Despite getting too much punishment, Rudy strived hard to give a tough time but was unable to do so and in the very last second of the first round blanked out eventually falling on the ring floor. Rudy was so much hurt that he was carried away on a stretcher.
After the bout the young American pounder, Demetrius proudly shared his game plan and said, “The game plan was to use my jab to set-up opportunities. I kept throwing punches early and saw that he dropped his right....and there it goes! I knew he'd walk into
it.”
While explaining further, Andrade remarked, “I work hard to make my fights easier. Tonight I threw combinations and established my jab. I’m putting it together - a little of this, a little of that. If the knockout comes, it comes, but when the shot is
there, I take it. I’m not hitting him with a pillow; I’m hitting him with a brick.”
With this win Demetrius has collected his 12th knockout and 17th career win whereas Rudy has further tarnished his resume by collecting fourth career loss.
