Demi L. vs. Selena G. ?

I want to see what people have to say about their careers and which BFF will rise to the top. To all the people who remain neutral, just post your opinion. Include things like; "Selena's a better actress but Demi's a better singer, etc etc etc."

They both sing and act, but Demi's singing isn't PERFECT, and neither is Selena's...I'm not sure. But in my opinion, my favorite is Selena Gomez.

I like Demi better, I think she has a great voice.

I think Demi will rise to the top faster because shes a great singer, and shes also having a new series come out, and she might be a better actress in it because she'll probably feel more comfortable than how she was on camp rock because that was her first major movie, and Selena is a good actress, but her singing is not anything special.

Well, Selena Gomez acting needs more training. I haven't heard her properly sing so I can't criticize her on that one though she is singing in her upcoming movie "Another Cinderella Story" Demi is a good singer but should take vocal lessons so that she can train it very well and be versatile like Mariah Carey, Christina Aguilera, etc. Her actng also needs training when she was in "As The Bell Rings" she had a dorky smile where she would laugh and open her mouth very wide while putting her head down in Camp Rock, she would also do the same smile minus the gap in her teeth (it was capped).

Both girls will succeed in the near future if they seek the proper training.

Selena has the star quality, the looks.

But Demi has all the talent, acting and singing.

    Your example said it all. Demi is a really talented singer, and her acting does have some room for great improvement. In Camp rock, her role requires not so much effort. Needless to say, neither does Selena's character in Wizard's of waverly place. So both their acting needs the improvement.

    Selena is unquestionable gorgeous! But her singing is too natural to stand out. Too natural, meaning that EVERYONE IS ABLE TO SING, BUT NOT EVERYONE CAN SING WELL. Demi's singing is attractive, and a bit more unique. Demi is also NOT ugly, but like Selena's singing, the beauty isnt as outstanding as Selena's.

    Personality wise, they're best friends, so if their friendship is as genuine as they make it seem, then they might be able to carry out the best in each other - with each other.

To be honest, I am not such big fans of them, HOWEVER I do see why the made it into the tween/teen-disney popularity category. Meaning that they are famous for a reason.

Ok i would have to say demi. i mean i love selena but demi is more talented, i mean her signing is fantastic and with more practice her acting can be better too. Also she seems more independent and stronger than selena personality wise. And Demi is really pretty and has a very unique cool style. shes got personality and one thats very different from the disney channel image (just read the part about her in the rolling stones with the jo bros on the cover) shes like a rocker chick and almost belittles the jonas brothers by not being head over heels in love with them. she also kinda looks like catherine zeta jones.

Selena is really annoying but a good actress and Demi's an amazing singer. She also seems more energetics than Selena. In my opinion Selena's WICKED annoying.

I think Selena is a good actress and an okay singer. A few more years on Disney channel and she might one day be a big star. But I think Demi can't act at all. In Camp Rock all she did was smile and act shy, maybe she wasn't even acting. She has a pretty good voice though, like your example said.
