Conventions are just pep rallies to pump up the supporters and maybe pick up a few independents.  You make take much of it too serious.  Most people have made up their minds and whatever happens at a convention won't change them.

Just be happy they only come around every 4 years.

Also, it gives the other side an opportunity to bash the speakers as political hacks, with the prospect of looming tax increases, even bigger deficits, & taking us in the wrong direction.

It doesn't really matter which pep rally you watch now does it?

I find it quite entertaining, seeing as how their candidate is so easy to laugh at.
