what is the difference between..

democratic country,

republic country,

capitalist,

and what does it mean when you say..

i'm a democrat ,,nd i'm a republic..?

  1. In a truly democratic country, the citizens vote for or against every law.

    In a republican country, the citizens elect political leaders they believe competent to decide matters of government, law and policy.

    Republican and Democrat parties are simply names  associated with groups of politicians claiming certain political platforms.

    Capitalism is an economic system in which the laws of supply and demand, i.e. the free market, determine the prices of goods and services.  It is the most efficient economic system known to man.

    I'm an independent because the politician should be judged on his own merits and positions, not the party he claims.
