  1. LOL, well my mom's Democrat and my dad's Republican, so I could go either way lol.  I agree with points from both sides, to tell you the truth, so I'd probably be either a liberal Republican, a conservative Democrat, or an Independent LOL LOL LOL!!!!!  :)  xxxxx

  2. Democrat

Yeah, I got most of my core beliefs from my parents but I consider myself more moderate than them. I think most children follow their parents but some go in the complete opposite direction to spite their parents. It's a kinda weird phenomenon.

  3. I cant say what I am...but I am not what I was raised to be....So I kind of made my own choice

I do vote for the best candidate regardless of party mos the time however

  4. My father is Republican and my mother is Independent.

I am Republican, and so is my sister.

  5. i'm definitely NOT where my father is or ever was.  my mother & i now see things from the same perspective, but she was never really into politics up until the last couple of years.  when she started paying attention, she and i disagreed a lot, now we're basically the same.

  6. my parents are both republicans..though they don't follow the party like sheep. i am prety much the same..but i'm indipendant..that way i'm not tied down by a political party. I am however for sure voting republican for my state governor and possibly for president..waiting for the debates to make that decision. My mom always votes..my dad votes sometimes. This will be my first time to vote but second year to be able to do so. Probably be like my dad and vote sometimes but not always.

  7. Vote for a better America, but think very carefully before you put that tick!

  8. I work for a living, just like my parents and grandparents. Therefore, I support The Democratic Party, just like my parents and grandparents.

  9. My father wasn't political in the sense that you an I know.  He grew up in Vietnam during the war so his views are a little extreme.  He absolutely despises corruption so he's always talking about George W. Bush and how much he hates him.  But to be fair he also talks about how corrupt Clinton was and how much money he was stealing.  I can't confirm it but that's my father's opinions.  He also believes in lots of conspiracy theories so to say the least him and I differ a lot.

My mother is for the most part A-Political.  She doesn't pay it a lot of attention, but I would probably have classified her as a moderate populist democrat.  Recently though she started her own business so she's shifted to the right a little after paying the infamous "Michigan Single Business Tax".

I was left pretty much to find my own way.  I think it's better for the fact that my beliefs are my own.  I'm a moderate democrat.  I wouldn't mind higher taxes but only if I knew that it was being used properly, say for paying off the National Debt...

To put it simply I'm very close to a "New York Democrat".  Fiscally conservative and socially liberal.  Pro-Choice, Anti-Creationist, pro-Gun Control, but also pro-gun.  I recycle whatever I can and I think Gas prices should be higher so that we will be forced to find better sources.

My sisters are pretty much the same except they believe in the Creation story, voted for Bush twice, but are both pro-gun control.  One of them owns a gun :-)

So maybe it's true that our parents' politics get passed down.  Even the lack of it... :-)

  10. I prefer republican if it's real

yes.I'm following them and I like this

  11. My husband's parents are split, and he followed his dad. His mom is a Democrat (explains her craziness! lol jk) and his dad is Republican. Apparently neither of them vote, because they think they cancel each other out...his crazy family...lol

  12. They were GOP committee people. I was in the GOP until about age 30, when I became a third party member -- first Liberal Party, then Working Families Party. I vote for independents, mostly, as all parties tend to be corrupt once in power.

  13. Both my parents are somewhat fence-sitters on a lot of issues, especially my father. They're Republican, and so am I...but I'm a lot more "hardcore" into it than they are. I'm really conservative.

  14. My parents aren't political in the least bit...they do not vote.

    I am a Democrat.

  15. Yeah , democrat.

  16. Yes and no, we all register independent but my parents tend to vote democrat and I tend to vote republican.
