Democratic/Republican Newspapers?

Question

I know that some major news networks are either more democratic or more republican (ex: FOX is Republican), but I was wondering, are newspapers considered one or the other.

My city's newspaper said that it endorsed Obama, so does that mean that it is a democratic newspaper?

Also, what are big newspapers (NY Times, Washington Post, etc) considered: democratic or republican or neither?

The big newspapers are typically liberal democratic.  I can only think of one conservative republican newspaper and it's the Daily Oklahoman.

Boston has 2 newspapers.

Boston Herald - more right leaning, it's widely known

Boston Globe - more left leaning, it's also widely known
