  1. It's democracy at it's worst

It's America at it's most deceived

  2. That arena is going to lift off the ground pretty soon with all the hot air trapped inside it.

  3. Great clinton supporters still do not like obama.

  4. I stomached a little of the first night and it was a train wreck until Michelle took the stage. The speech that was written for her was very good and she presented it well but I still did not feel the love.

  5. It's one big Circle-J.  No one cares about these people in reality, and none of them care about us.  This campaign has been going on for 2 years.  Other than running mates, what the h**l else could we possibly learn?

  6. It is less boring than most of them have been lately, but that is not saying much.Hillary speech was the only thing that offered any drama because people were not sure what she would say. I watched it  and it was surprisingly funny with some really good lines.

  7. Watch it yourself and form your own opinion.

  8. My opinion is that you butchered the word opinion.

  9. Generally, it's just a big, pat-myself-on-the-back infomercial for the Democrats of the nation. The Republican convention is the same thing. Some people like it because they get to throw nasties at thier rivals.

  10. Its boring. Obama hasnt even showed up. What a loser

  11. It has been terribly boring, as expected.  I do want to watch the main speakers though so I watch.  There is nothing original or inspirational that has come out of it, yet..

  12. So don't. With this what my opinion is shouldn't matter to you.

  13. ok so...uhhh what's ur question?

  14. I don't watch conventions. I used to when there was some suspense, some mystery, but the last few times the candidates have been chosen long before the conventions so the conventions themselves have been only 'infomercials' for the parties.  The networks no longer cover them 'gavel to gavel' because there's no reason to be interested in them, there's no news being made there.

If you don't want to watch them, you don't have to. You know by now all the positions, opinions, arguments.  Believe me, if anything interesting happens, anything at all, you'll hear about it.

That being said, I turned on the TV last night to watch Jeopardy and found the Democratic convention coverage still going on.  I saw most of Hillary's speech and I thought it was a very good speech.  There was nothing in it that surprised me, but it was interesting to listen to anyway.

  15. Very boring. Clinton gave a great speech if you share her views (I don't). She never said one positive thing about Obama like he was ready to lead or could be trusted. She kept her reference generic about party unity. Tells you what she thinks of Obama. The rest was what you could expect from the everyday liberal.

  16. Just tune in for the good parts. There have been some wonderfully strong speeches by our party's female leaders....they shouldn't be missed by any woman, nor by any man who cares about the women in his life.
