I don't believe that he does.  "Experience" can be defined in so many ways that it becomes a meaningless word.  If you measure someone's demonstrated accomplishments, Obama seems to fall far short of Palin.  

For those who question whether Palin "has even been out of the US", she visited troops in the Middle East last year as Governor of Alaska and let's not forget, Alaska and Russia are separated but just a few miles at their closest point and Russian military jets have frequently been skirting US and Canadian air space.  (just do a google search about russian military jets off alaskan coast)

It's very likely she's more up to speed on Russia, treaties with Russia, etc. than Obama.  As the mom of a son about to be deployed to Iraq, it's also very likely, she's paying close attention to what's going on in the Middle East.  

Obama has been a member of the "Club of 100" US Senators for less than 3 years.  He's never had to make a tough call and has never been accountable for making a big decision during that time.  He's never been the ONE in charge.  It's a much tougher role to be the person in charge.  Palin's government experience has been as the key decision maker for a town and a state.  I don't think you can say she's less experienced than Obama.  One is a mediocre legislator who can give a good speech, one is the most popular governor in the country.

Obviously a trick question. No he doesn't.

He simply was a "voter" and all of us could do that since grade school. Palin has run two companies and met a payroll, plus run a city and run a state. This takes management ability and not just pushing a voting button.

The TRUE fact of the matter is, they like Obama because he is a good talker. He gives great speeches, that's all, and they are mesmerized by the Hollywood style. These are the typical star struck people you see visiting LA looking around wide-eyed thinking everyone they see walking down the street is a movie star.

Very impressionable to say the least and will dismiss anything so their hero will be what they made him into in their own mind.

(The whole "executive experience" thing is fuzzy math.  Unless you really believe that running a state for 20 MONTHS prepares you to run a whole country, and make foreign policy and national security decisions.  How does running Alaska for less than two years give her the tools to run Washington?  To deal with a nuclear crisis?)

Following an unsuccessful bid for a seat in the U.S. House of Representatives in 2000, he announced his campaign for the U.S. Senate in January 2003. After a primary victory in March 2004, Obama delivered the keynote address at the Democratic National Convention in July 2004. He was elected to the Senate in November 2004 with 70% of the vote.

As a member of the Democratic minority in the 109th Congress, he helped create legislation to control conventional weapons and to promote greater public accountability in the use of federal funds. He also made official trips to Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. During the 110th Congress, he helped create legislation regarding lobbying and electoral fraud, climate change, nuclear terrorism, and care for returned U.S. military personnel. Palin was a sports reporter before becoming mayor of a town of 9000 in 1992. She graduated from Idaho with a degree in journalism/communications. Her choice was to get married and do something fun and frivolous with her career. Nothing wrong with that but a far cry from Obama.

Obama graduated from Harvard Law on a scholarship, where his peers voted him their better when they chose him to lead the Harvard Law Review, and passing up the ticket to ANYWHERE: corporations, politics, lobbying, consulting, a big law firm -- he became a civil rights attorney working a lot of pro bono cases in Chicago and worked for little to no pay organizing communities in Chicago to empower them to make their own neighborhoods better. His commitment to making the world a better place is unimpeachable.

In the U.S Senate Obama has served on the FOREIGN RELATIONS COMMITTEE, HOMELAND SECURITY COMMITTEE, VETERANS AFFAIRS COMMITTEE, HEALTH, EDUCATION, LABOR & PENSION COMMITTEE where he authored 890 pieces of legislation, and co-sponsored 1096 pieces of legislation.

Now - even if Obama ONLY had his education to go by - that Juris Doctorate  from Harvard, where he graduated at the top, that alone gives him more understanding of how the Federal government works than Gov. Palin's entire resume.

- Before getting to the US Senate Obama served 11 years in the Illinois State Senate.

- Barack Obama is a graduate TOP of his class at Harvard Law School. That means he has Juris Doctorate - specializing in Constitutional Law. Barack Obama also has a degree in Political science specializing in International Relations.

Obama supporters are looking for change less than experience, especially the kind of experience that has led our country to where we are today.  McCain was supposed to be the candidate of experience which makes his entire argument against Obama tremendously hypocritical.  Now he is the candidate of bad judgment.
