  1. Absolutely. Obama, Feinstein, Rockefeller, Webb, Inouye, 16 other democrats and ALL REPUBLICANS believe giving immunity to Telecoms and Spying on Americans is more important than preserving the 4th Ammendment.

Both McCain and Obama have changed their positions on countless issues-McCain in the last two years and Obama in the last month. I'm seriously thinking of voting for Nader/Gonzalez as I am disgusted in our whole Private-Money-funded sham of an election. The President is nothing less than a station to represent the interests of Investment banks, Hedge Funds, Military Contractors, Insurance Companies, Pharmacuetical Corporations, Oil Companies and the Telecoms.

  2. Yes, very much so.  He's still better than the alternative, but his politically calculated capitulation to avoid having to fight the Right-Wing lock-step smear machine is pathetic.

BEFORE he cast that vote, just when he indicated he would, I wrote to his campaign and told them I would not be contributing to his campaign for the general election, because of that vote.

  3. Though I am not a Democrat it is saddening that Obama has allowed the Republicans AGAIN to define the political race.

He is so afraid of the inevitable smear campaign that he runs from any controversial decision. Come on man - stand up for something!

  4. Everyone who voted for that is a traitor to the U.S. and it's Constitution.

  5. Their silence is deafening.
