I know poverty, I know it quite well. I lived in the back seat of a 1970 for 3 years. I never knew a Christmas morning, I took showers at Winton Woods Camp grounds near Cincinnati, Ohio for .25 cents a day. I never saw a doctor in my life before I was 32 years old.

IT never occurred to me that I should ask the government for help or that someone else OWED me money for nothing. I worked at a gas station earning $2.10 per hour 60 hours a week and put myself through High School....NOT college! I never allowed my minority status rob me of all the opportunities dripping across this wonderful country. I remember reading my high school diploma under a street light by myself...I remember feeling so d**n lucky to just be alive.

I started my own business in 1982, today I have 13 full time employees, 6 part time. I own my own home PAID-FOR thank God. I have the most wonderful wife in the world who gave me 3 wonderful children. Every one of them I put through college. We live on 10 beautiful acres with our own lake. I can travel any where in the world I want too...I drive any car I want, I can go any where I want, when I want.

I have my life because I earned my life, I worked 90-110 hours per week! Nothing get me more angery when I hear people say I need to feel sorry for the poor people...I see these poor people everyday around my business...they are lazy, they are worthless, they steal and rob people, they have no self respect. YES there are some who are good...and they ALWAYS move on...if you do the right things in life NOTHING....and I mean NOTHING will hold you back...only yourself.

Don't be jealous of others who have made it....quit complaining and make it yourself. Just like Sarah Palin did...she worked her way up by herself.

This is by FAR the greatest nation on earth...don't you forget that!

  1. Middle class = mediocrity.

Why would we focus on wanting to be mediocre?

  2. No, Democrats do not "get it"

  3. I'm curious as to what it is you do or did to earn your life. I'm also curious to  know if what you did and how you did it could be done in this day and age, as we all know  many of the freedoms we had back them we do not have now.

I'm simply curious, I;m not putting you down- I admire what you are saying.
