But the latest betrayal has upset Democrats, who often answer in clipped but polite tones when asked about Lieberman. The reason: The independent still caucuses with the Democrats on most issues except the Iraq war, and he holds their slim political majority in his hands.

  1. Both houses could become Democratic in the fall elections, however things could also change between now and then.

  2. The Democratic Party betrayed Sen Lieberman running Ned Lamont against him for his Senate seat. The Clintons and the NYT's endorsed Ned Lamont against Lieberman.  Just because of Lieberman's support for the Iraq war he's a traitor?

Why the Democrats who've had control since 2006 will continue to do nothing?  LIES? Guess Who said:

"Saddam Hussein has been engaged in the development of weapons of mass destruction technology which is a threat to countries in the region and he has made a mockery of the weapons inspection process."

"In the four years since the inspectors left, intelligence reports show that Saddam Hussein has worked to rebuild his chemical and biological weap ons stock, his missile delivery capability, and his nuclear program. He has also given aid, comfort, and sanctuary to terrorists, including al Qaeda members ... It is clear, however, that if left unchecked, Saddam Hussein will continue to increase his capacity to wage biological and chemical warfare, and will keep trying to develop nuclear weapons."

  3. They were, until Obama. Now it's a toss-up.
