Demonic or ghostly encounters?

Ive been interested in the so-called paranormal for quite some time and I was curious if anyone had a story or experience to share with me...please no lies and please no one take offense if you're a nonbeliever.

One of my friends invited me to go to her mother's friends house to swim and just have lunch with her sisters and hang out. She had told me the house was really haunted by a ghost but I definatly did not believe her at first so I just blew it off and told her I'd go with her.

The house was gorgeous needless to say, and I didn't expect to see what I witnessed and felt. When we got into the house I was introduced to the woman and her little daughter who was about 6 or 7 years old and we all started talking and got ready to eat lunch. We all sat around this glass dining room table and began to eat and talk and then the loaf of bread flew off of the kitchen counter. NO ONE was in the kitchen, and I swear to you I am not lying this loaf of bread FLEW. The woman told us it was their ghost, but it was friendly and everyone was just really creeped out but I of course enjoyed it. It was the most real experience I had with a ghost in a long time. Then, as we were eating under the table the ghost literally went around to each person randomly and would tickle their feet. THAT'S when I got really creeped out. After lunch we got our swim suits on and headed outside to go swimming and hang by the pool.

My friend cortney had already changed with her little sister, and her older sister's friend so she headed outside. I was inside with her older sister and we were really creeped out to change inside by ourselves so we each stood on the outside of the door and waited for one another to make sure eachother was okay. I changed first and nothing happened, I was fine. So then my friend's older sister went to go changed and without anyone touching the door it opened. She freaked out, I was screaming. Within 5 seconds we were both screaming. We headed outside eventually and told everyone what happened and they all laughed. I felt safe in the pool actually for some reason I guess.

After swimming cortney and me were playing in the huge doll house the woman's husband built for their daughter. We were on the top floor, and we heard the play pots and pans fall off the play kitchen stove by themselves when we had put them in the sink. We were too afraid to even walk down the stairs. When we went back inside the tv turned on by itself and then would go from static to normal then to static once again. Then it turned off.

we were playing with polly pockets(I was in the fourth grade) and the little ferris wheel that came with the carnival started to spin by itself, this might not sound freaky but it doesn't move unless you pressed a button.

So, Maybe that's not too creepy but It was definatly real so maybe that's what made it scary to me. idkkkk

I got a messege from my son who died. All day long I came across pennys. It was unbelievable. I got home and talked out loud to him saying that I would't believe those penneys were from  him unless I found on in an unbelievable place.

I then directly to my bedroom window to open it. The window almost goes down to the floor. There, as if it had been carefully placed, centered and face up in the dirt, a cuople of inches from the window.

I knew it was him for sure.

He also sets off my alarm clock when it isn't set

Someone said to watch TAPS - there is also Paranormal State (I think that's the name) and Ghost Hunters (which I think is the TAPS group) and Ghost Hunters International. All on A&E. Pretty cool stuff. Also, I just got a pretty cool book about the paranormal. If you want me to give you more info about the book, let me know.

Hi, Brooklyn. No offense taken, and I am a believer. I have contacted a Paranormal Research society, (local) and my house is currently under investigation. It has been quite exhausting, and I have tried speaking with different people through this site, and even my pastor at my church. The one's so "willing to help" have not followed through, but "The Ghost Hunters" as they call themselves, have already done an audible, and are meeting tonight to discuss the next step. So wish me luck. I was pretty wigged out, because sighs and growls were all I heard prior to listening to the tape, though I have seen many spirits in many forms for 5 months now. I am an empathic/psychic and clairvoyant, but haven't been trained. It is a childhood gift, and comes naturally. After listening to the audio, I was surprised as to how vocal they are. I was frightened after hearing some of the things said, and I do not frighten easily, so I tried to speak to a person who offered help from this site, and they turned out to be flaky and made promises they didn't keep. I think this guy is using his gifts to empower  women who need help and are scared, and he does a pretty good job at it. I won't give any names, because I'm not like that, and when he learned I was married, he was off and running. So, I am soooo glad I followed through with this investigation. Anyway, there is a portal and it somehow leads through the garage and they come through a wall in the Master bedroom. There are several children's voices, an elderly woman, a man and a higher anarchy spirit who is holding them here. It was so hard to hear one child begging me to get him out. He said "you can do it," "Reader, Reader," "Hi, here I am," "Evil House," "Play," "There's something you can do," (He repeated that 5 times) and then there were growls and sighs from the woman. I told them I am not trained and will not pass them through without being trained. This has made them act out, but I stand firm on that belief. The higher anarchy, I know to be a demon, cursed many times and laughed at their pleas. My house and neighborhood is located around many electrical wires, was under no leadership during an entire year of the civil war and I know many horrible things happened here. Some to which I have dreamed and others I have seen. No need to get graphic, but the reason this location is haunted is because this subdivision was built over unmarked graves of Indians and both Union and Confederate soldiers, and they continue to build around here, which goads things up even more. It has been a literal nightmare, but I have been offered a job with this group, after I go through a training course they provide free of charge. So, I know this to be my calling in life. Back to the spirits; they are very visible to me, and speak to me mainly telepathically wherein my family and friends only see them in shadow form. They whisper things to them to scare them, but luckily I do not have to hear much vocally, unless on audio. Demons and spirits can strengthen if you allow them power. For example; they work mainly in your weakest areas. Check into the 7 deadly sins. Pride, Wrath, Lust, Gluttony, Envy, Greed and Sloth. They are not listed in the Bible such as the 10 Commandments, but are mentioned throughout the Bible. I'm not sure of your religious preference, but I will list the chapters and verses that speak of these as sins. Also, in 1 Corinthians 12:9-28, it explains God gives certain people gifts in the area of discernment of spirits and others gifts as well, through the Holy Spirit. There are many false prophets, so be careful and avoid mediums who charge you to help. That is a big no, no. I am rambling, but if you would like to research these things further, there is the Bible as well as Christian based Paranormal Societies in most cities. They may train, but they have to know you are gifted. If you are a photographer, and familiar with electronic devices, they may need help there as well. I'm quite excited actually, because I get to help others who have and are going through what I am now. I hope this helped you, and have an excellent day!

I can tell you many true stories. Would take too long to do it here. You can email me and I'll tell you all about them. I will tell you one of them now. My sister lives in the country. Her daughters and my other nieces have seen a man wearing a cowboy hat, looking out the window of the bedroom they were sleeping in. They never told each other about this until a few yrs. later. They were afraid the other one would think they were stupid. There have been many other things happen at their house that you will find hard to believe. Things also happened at my parents house when I was a child. There was also things that happend at my mothers house when the grandkids stayed there. I swear this is all the truth, and will tell you more if you choose to contact me. I truly believe in the paranormal. My niece passed away recently, but has not moved on. Her grandson aged 2 has seen her and said she was "pissed". Many things has happened at her daughter house. We all wish she would move on. Please contact me so I can tell you more.   I have had enough experiences to write a book about .In fact a couple of our stories are found in GHOSTS of ST AUGUSTINE by Dave Lapham.See the chapter on "Wildwood."  AS for demons,these are mostly the product of religious imaginations.However, there are some some spirits who are not so nice , These are an extreme minority.Ghosts can be spirits who for one reason or another don't want to go on to their rewards ,or are not aware they are dead. Some are not spirits at all but residual hauntings caused by the energy form a past ,usually traumatic, event being "played back" in the present,a sort of time warp.

Once I stayed at a haunted hotel (Manresa Castle, Port Townsend, Wa) with my boyfriend for our anniversary...I had heard it was haunted so that's why we decided to stay there. He is a photographer and i made him take pictures throughout the hotel to see if we could get anything in a photo... we didn't notice anything in the pictures until we got home and uploaded them onto the computer. We had  the freakiest image show up in a picture he took of the hotels sitting room. Sitting at a table was a grayish see through woman with hear hands folded on the table..it was clear and unmistakable...creeps me out to this day...cant wait to go back!!

Watch TAPS. It' s group of guys who research the paranormal. Every Wednesday night on the Sc-fi channel, I'm thinking. My mom claims she felt paralyzed one night, and caught a glimpse of an alien (still freaks me out to this day)

And my dad when he was my age in Germany (was 19) went one night to an abandoned shed to steal some car parts. He said as he was passing by inside the barn or whatever, he saw this hooded figure sitting down on a bench, He stared at it, and it slowly raised it's head, and turned out to be an old woman smiling wickedly at him,. He said he ran like the wind and cleared like an 8 foot fence in one jump he was so scared chitless.

I personally, saw a pair of glowing red eyes when I was looking in my parents room at night.. It had no pupils or anything. I was 6 years old and will never forget.

I could regale you with stories for hours.  I come from a family with a long line of female Empaths, my g-grandmother was one, my grandmother was known in their neighborhood as "The Gypsy" - she was the one that everyone would go to when something was missing or remiss, i.e., grandpa died without telling anyone where the shoebox of money was. Gramma would walk in their front door and locate it in minutes.

I first started showing 'the gift' when I was about 5, I'm told.  I used to talk to people who "weren't there" according to other people in the room.  My daughter (age 28) has shown a strong 'gift' over the last five years or so, she calls me often to tell me about getting 'hits' on various things/people.  One time she was driving down the freeway, and she heard a voice yell "HIT THE BRAKES!" - she freaked out and hit her brakes, just in time to see a car heading at her in the wrong direction! (the guy had entered the freeway using the EXIT ramp!) - if she hadn't hit her brakes, the guy would have collided head-first with her at freeway speed, probably killing both of them.  As it was, SHE ended up in the shrubbery on the side of the road, but fortunately, she wasn't hurt.

In closing, there are LOTS of entities/spirits/whatever out there.  They just operate on different 'frequencies' than us.  And then there are some of us who have the ability to "tune in" more precisely.  It doesn't make us weird or anything - if anything, it's EXHAUSTING.  :|
