Fulham’s Clint Dempsey has hinted that he could be on the way out of the club this season, as he is looking to play Champions League football.
The American international went on to join the club in 2007 and since then, he has been on the rise at the club.
This past season, Dempsey went on to score a very impressive twenty three goals for the club and this has caused a lot of teams to develop and interest in the player.
Arsenal and Manchester United are reported to be interested in landing the player, but it seems like the Gunners are currently the favourites to land the player, should he actually pursue a move out of the club.
The twenty nine year old has admitted that he will give it his all for Fulham, but in the end, he also wants to play some Champions League football before his career comes to an end.
"What I do is focus on the teams that I play for and I give my heart to them, work as hard as I can to try to make the most of my time and make the most of the career that I have left," he told reporters.

"The transfer window is open until August 31. It's no secret that I would like to play Champions League one day in my career.

"If it's meant to be, it will be."
Dempsey has gone on to evolve from a wide player, to a central midfielder and then to a goal scoring attacking midfielder, who can also play as a centre forward if required.
The player has the versatility that would make any team want to sign him, while having the technique and the natural footballing ability, to make him an asset to any club that he joins.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 are in desperate need to improve their squad and hence it seems like this goal scoring midfielder and playmaker could be the answer to their problems.
At the same time, should Dempsey make the move, he could end up playing Champions League football like he has always wanted to.
