Question:

Dems version of family values?

I have been pelted with "family values" questions recently by Dems who claim that Palin can't have good values because she is not a stay at home Mom. So I pose this question:

How come the majority of the blue collar, two income families, where Mom and Dad both work outside the home, manage to raise their kids without the same level of teen pregnancy, drug addiction, and anti-social behavior than welfare families, who are by definition...are staying at home and not working?

I appriciate that we all have drugs and teen pregnancy issues to deal with, but it seems to me that welfare families should have the lowest rate of crime, teen pregnancy, drug addiction, etc etc because Mommy and Daddy are staying at home?

Thoughts?

  1. ok

  2. We could reduce both drug and pregnancy issues with education!!

but republicans would rather teach the bible in school, than something that matters!!

now hows that for family values?

  3. An example of Dem family values:

Its ok for a woman to murder her unborn child, but killing a convicted murderer is wrong.

  4. The moms who need welfare often don't have fathers to help them at home.  They also live in low income areas and often work to supplement the welfare that they receive.  Work at home is also very time consuming because they don't have good resources to do the work.  They and their children are also cramped for space.

Finally they are forced to send their children to public schools where their children pick up bad values, because they cannot afford anything better.  And the public schools in the low income areas are the worst of all schools.

In regard to Palin, she has a husband who can share the work at home and I'm sure she checked with him about her work.

  5. By your own logic I would expect Republicans to be more straight than g*y, but the truth differs by the evidence of Mark Foley, Ted Haggard, Larry Craig, Bob Allen, and Glenn Murphy.

Can a Republican tell me when being g*y is a family value?  At least when a Democrat cheat on their partners it is with the opposite s*x.

  6. I didn't know they had any. At least not the ones I know.

I'm from Alaska and yes, Sarah did keep her pregnancy a secret, but I believe it's because of all the scrutiny and press if she told she was carrying a downs syndrome child. I think it was to protect her school children from having to deal with that for 9 months. We all thought it was smart of her to do that. She is a fine, moral woman and I think it's sad that so many are hitting on her already.

    "McCain/Palin" in 2008

Hopefully Palin for Prez in 2012

  7. I knew the Dems would play this card.  They are showing how hypocritical they are [women's lib!] and succeed in stepping on quite a few toes.

The Dem's case here may look legit (to some people) from a 1 dimensional perspective, but if you look at it from any other angle, it lacks form and has no substance.

Welfare families are a good example that stay-at-home parenting is not necessarily the best way to raise children.  Additionally, if people are comfortable sponging off the system and contriving a lifestyle to qualify for aid lack integrity.  How could someone like this have good family values?

    McCain/Palin 2008!

  8. im sick of all the liberal BS they have no family values at all

not all kids want to vote for obama cuz hes "young" and "new"
