I was denied @ the New Zealand Embassy (Working Visa, & my employer wants me badly but the NZ Visa Officer denied me) this past year and I am now applying @ Australian Embassy for a student visa, is it possible I will be denied once again? All my papers are genuine, I have a true and existing back account; What do you think will happen?

  1. Australia is much harder - If you have a student visa you can't work

Dont come over here and take our jobs illegally - I hope they do deny you if thats the case......

  2. australia is harder to get into then nz. also it depends why you were denied before. they tell you personally and send a letter out to you. ussually if denied once you will be denied again.

    check out www.immi.gov.au

that site has everything you need to know about australian immigrations/visas.

i would definitly hire a lawyer to help you if you are seriously looking to move to australia. i know they are expensive, but definitly worth it especially since you have been denied in nz.

  3. OZ is much more harder than New zealand.

  4. to get a student visa you must be accepted by a school/university before you apply for a visa.  you can only work part time while you are studying.if you don't go to school you can not work or stay in Australia

i don't see how this helps with your new zealand employer

  5. Without knowing WHY you were denied entry to NZ it is impossible to say whether or not you will be permitted to enter Australia. But you have changed two things since last time:

    * You are now trying to enter a different country

    * You are now trying to enter as a student, not on a working visa.

Both of those might help your chances. Or they might not.

By the way, no one at the Australian embassy will care whether or not you have an existing bank account in Australia. As you are applying for a student visa they WILL ask for proof of enrollment in the course you are intending to study. Otherwise they might think (as I do) that you are trying to sneak into the country in an attempt to work here illegally.

  6. Australia is harder to get into and if you do apply for Student visa you will be unable to work. Do the right thing and abide by the law
