Brazilian midfielder, Denilson is set to be on his way back to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429, following a loan spell with Sao Paulo.
The midfielder joined the Gunners way back in 2006, back when he was believed to be a player, who could step up and become a first team regular at the club.
However, with other players coming under the lime light, the midfielder found it close to impossible to break into the first team and he ended up being nothing more than a substitute at the club.
With Arsene Wenger feeling like the player was being wasted, they ended up loaning him to Sao http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Paulo-c29431 for the season, where he spent the last term.
The team was looking forward to landing him on a permanent basis, but the two clubs couldn’t agree on a transfer fee, which made it impossible for the Brazilian side to keep hold of the midfielder.
Sao Paulo’s president, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Juvenal-c20165 Juvencio, when talking about how the asking price from the Gunners couldn’t be met went on to state: "Denilson won't stay"

"Arsenal want €6million (£4.9million) for him, but we won't pay that so we expect him to leave soon."
He admitted that the young midfielder was a crucial part of his squad this past term, having made thirty appearances for the team. However, he also insisted that it would be close to impossible to extend his stay at the club, since he didn’t think there
was any chance of that happening.
He added: "Of course we will try to get the loan deal extended for another year, but it won't be easy."
With Denilson back at Arsenal, the team will have to rethink the player’s future. They don’t have any use for him at the moment, but he could go on and become a good back up, in case someone picks up an injury.
However, they are going to be more than willing to hear offers for him and in the end, the team could potentially let him leave for a fee which is lower than what they want for him.
Nonetheless, Denilson is yet to make his intentions known and once that does happen, we will be able to get a much better view of what is going to happen in the player’s future.
