Arsenal’s midfielder, Denilson is set to return to the Emirates at the end of his loan spell with Sao Paulo, after he didn’t opt to extend his stay at the club.
The Brazilian player went on to join Sao http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Paulo-c29431 on a loan deal, after he failed to make a decent number of appearances for the Gunners.
However, it has now been confirmed that the midfielder is going to be returning to the Emirates, after he admitted that he didn’t want to stay at Sao Paulo.
Sao Paulo’s vice president, Juan Paulo de Jesus has gone on to confirm the fact that an agreement couldn’t be reached between http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 and the club over extending the player’s loan spell with the team.
When talking about his future plans and just where he was going to be playing this coming season, Denilson is reported to have said: "I will stay at Sao Paulo until June 30"
"Then I will return to Arsenal.”

"This season, I had more assists, I secured a place in the starting team and I had good matches. I also had a good run of matches and I have not been sent off.”
He also confirmed that Arsenal went on to urge the player to come back to the Emirates, since he didn’t have any problem with sticking around at Sao Paulo.
Denilson also admitted that he would not be disappointed to return to the Emirates, given the fact that the North London club are one of the biggest teams in the world.

"I would like to stay six more months, but this decision was made by Arsenal, with whom I have a contract.”

"I will not be unhappy in London, because I am returning to one of the biggest clubs in the world."
Denilson signed for Arsenal in 2006 and is currently on contract with the team till 2013. He has not really managed to break into the first team, or make a real name for himself with the club.
However, given how he is more experienced now, he could finally go on and make a name for himself at the Emirates.
