The Portugal head coach knows the game against Denmark is a must win, and he also considers both sides to be evenly matched.

In their previous game Portugal were frustrated by no one else but themselves. Their stars were guilty of not making their domination count.
Paulo Bento’s side dominated Germany for most of the game but failed to convert any of their chances. Die Mannschaft, on the other hand, created very few chances but somehow managed to score one.
Reflecting on his side’s performance the former Sporting Lisbon man says his side gave all they could against the Germans, but in the end lost to a solid side which is tipped to win the European Champions title.
"We lost the first game against one of the favourites for the title. We lost even though we played very well,” he is quoted as saying in an interview.
Now A Seleccao face Denmark in their second game of the ‘Group of Death’. Ahead of his side’s must win clash, the Portuguese tactician thinks there are no favourites for tomorrow’s match, both sides have the ability to beat each
other.
"I think there is no favourite for tomorrow, two teams, eye-to-eye with each other,” he added.
Bento believes Denmark are capable of matching his side in every department, and have shown that in their previous match against Netherlands. He thinks the Danes have the desire and ability to advance in the tournament and it is
possible that they might beat his side.
"These two teams are very equal in terms of chances in their last games. Teams with ambition, the same goal desire to advance in this tournament,” he further added.
Portugal face an uphill task of qualifying for the next round of the European Championship, after their loss to Germany. The A Seleccao players will be confident of beating Denmark, considering their fine display against Germany.
The Portuguese created a host of chances but there finishing let them down. Paulo Bento has an experienced striker in Hugo Almeida on the bench who has the physical strength to play up front on his own and has a decent strike rate.
The match will surely be a treat for the neutrals as both sides will go all out for a win, if they are to qualify for the next round. Portugal however, will be the bookies’ favourites to win the tie.
