Denmark under 21 versus Belarus under 21 - Second half review: European U-21 Championships
The second half got under way at NRGi Park in Denmark between the Danish U-21 team and their Belarusian counter parts as Belarus opted to make a change at the half time break. Nikita Bukatkin was taken off by the visiting team
as Dmitri Rekish replaced his compatriot on the field of play. With the score line at 1-1, the beginning of the second half was a tense one as both the teams were cautious rather than adventurous in their approach.

score line remained at one all at NRGi Park.
In the 55th minute, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Belarus-c2849 thought that they had a brilliant opportunity to gain the lead once more as Nicky Nielsen was sent clean through on goal with a superb through ball but Denmark’s offside trap meant that the

to hold onto the effort.
In the 71st minute, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Denmark-c2884 took the lead when Nicolai Jorgensen found himself in space inside the Belarus’ penalty area. Jorgensen took it upon himself to beat Hutar as he curled an accurate shot as the young goalkeeper
to put his team in front with the score line at 2-1 in NRGi Park.
After scoring their second goal of the encounter, Denmark adopted a defensive approach which proved to be a successful strategy in the end as their resolute http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Defence-c38904 held on for the win by battling against a late Belarusian offensive
surge. Thus the match came to a conclusion with the score line at 2-1 in favour of the home side. Denmark did well to come back into the match after conceding the first goal in the first half. Christian Eriksen was their main man as he pulled the strings from
the centre of the park for the U-21 Danish side.
