Only one player managed to reach the 20 figure mark, while only three batters made the double digits as Danish bowlers ruled the day, with almost everyone chipping in with wickets.
The match started with the toss, where Denmark’s skipper, Michael Pederson, elected to field first after winning.
The new ball did the trick for the Dane, as Basit Raja, took a wicket in the first over of the game. He removed Israeli opener, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Yefet-Nagavakar-c98265 for one. A good delivery, which took the edge of the bat, went straight into the gloves of the wicket-keeper,

The Israeli misery doubled, when http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Danny-Hotz-c52377 , leaving his side in dire straits at 2-3.
However, the pairing of Daniel Hyman and Eshkol Solomon started rebuilding the innings with a third wicket stand of 36. The scoring rate remained low though, with both batters scoring in singles mostly.
The Danish bowlers were not fazed by the batters as they produced a sublime bowling display, which saw their opponents lose 5 wickets in a span of just 7 runs.
The Israeli collapse started with the wicket of Solomon, falling to http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Jacob-Larsen-c65204 for 18. Larsen took another in the very next ball, sending Josh Evans back to the pavilion on a first ball duck.
Israeli skipper, Herschel Gutman, was the next casuality, and likewise failed to open his account. This time http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Hamid-Ali-Mazhar-Shah-c61330.
Bashir then grabbed his second, as he removed Itamar Kehmikar, who could only manage two as he was easily held on by http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Ajay-Bobby-Chawla-c42426.
Michael Pederson then applied the final touches as he dismissed Daniel Hayman, the second top scorer with 19.
Israel, by now, had lost 7 batsmen in just under 13 overs, having still not crossed the 50-run mark.
With bowlers ruling supreme, it seemed as though they would finish the job quickly, but an 8th wicket partnership between top scorer, Yaniv Razpurker and Shailesh Bangerra, helped the side to recover somewhat.
Razpurker, made 26 off 23, with the help of a four and six, while Bangera added 11 off 15.
However, the damage had been done, as Israel floundered for 94 for 9 at the end of 20 overs.
The Danish showed real energy and guile as all bowlers chipped with wickets apart from Chawla. There were a couple for Larsen, Bashir and Pederson, while a wicket each for Raja, Anjum and http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Aftab-Ahmed-c42175.
The Danes would have hoped to wrap up the proceedings when they come out to bat in their innings.
