Nepal progressed to Division 3 after defeating http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Denmark-c2884 by a margin of 25 runs on the D/L method (their fifth consecutive victory in the competition) in the ICC World Cricket League Division Four 2012, at the Kinrara Academy Oval in Kuala Lumpur on September
9.
Nepal won the toss and elected to bat first, and while the innings was bolstered in a big way by centurion http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Anil-Kumar-Mandal-c44736, who went on to win the Player of the Match award, the remainder of the batsmen were unable to contribute any substantial scores, or serve
as effective partners for Mandal.
Wicketkeeper batsman Subash Khakurel opened the innings for http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Adrian-Roger-Kirshaw-Pierson-c42135 it out at the crease for longer, contributing an individual total
of 26, in addition to setting up a 44-run stand with Mandal.
