  1. So first of all Denmark is definately not a third world country.

    Denmark is working hard as a country to be better for the environment.  Throughout my year in AP environmental science, Denmark was mentioned several times as being good for the environment.  One way they reduce emissions and reduce their carbon footprint is that big cities (like Copenhaven, the capitol) have car sharing and bike sharing programs.  Car sharing is a program where people use publicly owned cars and use them only when they need them to reduce car use.  Bike sharing is pretty much the same thing with bikes; this encourages more people to bike places rather than drive.

    Denmark using wind power for the same reason any country using wind power.  It is a clean, renewable energy.


  2. Their is no such thing an eco footprint. They use windmills because they are a third world nation.
