Dennis Bermudez fights Diego Brando in debut fight – Preview: TUF 14 Finale
Two mixed martial arts (MMA) fighters will be making their debut on December 3, 2011 when they take part in TUF 14 Finale. The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) is promoted by the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and promotes TUF. American
MMA fighter Dennis Bermudez will face Brazilian MMA fighter Diego Brando. Both fighters would be looking forward for a win in their debut fight. The TUF 14 Finale is scheduled to take place in Palms Casino Resort, Las Vegas, where the two new faces in the
UFC would bring their best game.
American MMA fighter Bermudez, nicknamed The Menace, will be making his UFC debut after losing two straight fights. He lost to compatriot Drew Fickett at Shine Fights 3 in September 2010 by a submission. His second loss came two
months later in November 2010 where he again lost to another compatriot Jordan Rinaldi at PA Fighting Championships 4. Both of his losses came in the first round, which could be a concern for him, as he would not want to repeat that on his UFC debut.
Brazilian MMA fighter Brando, nicknamed Ceara, lost two fights in June 2009 and January 2010 to Ran Weathers and Gert Kocani respectively. He did win a fight in February 2010 against Derek Campos but lost to Ururahy Rodrigues in
May 2010. Entering into his UFC debut against Bermudez, the Brazilian has a three-fight winning streak over Michael Casteel, Richard Villa and Nick Buschman.
Both fighters are 24-years old where Bermudez stands in at 5ft 6in while Brando measures at 5ft 7in. Brando will have a clear height advantage, giving him an extra bit of reach and movement capability inside the UFC octagon. On
the other hand, Bermudez will enjoy a height advantage over Brando.
Bermudez, who specializes in wrestling and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu can use his weight and height advantage over Brando, who specializes in Muay Thai and Jiu-Jitsu. Bermudez has won eight fights in his MMA career and lost two. Brando
has won eighteen bouts in his career and lost seven. Brando have won more MMA fights in his career and overshadows Bermudez with his career statistics. Both MMA fighters would be motivated to make a great start with their UFC debut and would surely make it
a fight to remember.
