  1. I'm not familiar with the set-up on the 1507, but with speakers as capable as the MA BR2's, isn't there a better setting than 'small'.

    I'll bet that sounds awesome!

  2. You said that your speaker are all set to small. Your setting for subwoofer is correct ( i.e. normal) unless your front speaker can handle low frequency signal. In this case, use the +Main. ( The +Main means both the front and subwoofer will reproduce bass signal.)

The CR Over 80Hz is the cut off or crossover frequency of the  LFE signal. This means that the bass up to 80 Hz will output to the speakers. Since the speaker are small, I suggest that you set it to 60 or 40 Hz then listen to the output of your subwoofer. You should not hear the instruments or voice of the singer, and only the very low frequency is heard in the subwoofer.

Addendum, I saw in the internet that Monitor Audio BR2 is capable of delivering all the frequencies. If you are using this in both front and surround or in the front only, I suggest that you set the speaker to large and set the crossover frequency to 40 and set the sub woofer mode to Main + . Your Monitor Audio will also reproduce the bass frequency and the  subwoofer will reproduce the deep bass region.
