Although all cables are connected properly, and inputs assigned correctly, I am not getting the proper signal when switching between Cable and DVD, I get the cable signal with no sound from the DVD source, and I get both signals(sound and picture) from DVD at the VCR setting, despite not having a VCR installed. Is this a defect in the receiver?
