Denon AVR 2106 Protect Mode (followup). Dave, Pulled the heat since and voltage regulators

Dave, Pulled the heat since and voltage regulators tonight. Interesting that the factory used the generic versions of these devices (AN7815 and AN7915F). AN7815 has a metal backing and was not electrically isolated from the heat sink. Neither was the s***w that held it in place. The AN7915F had a composition material (part of the overall molded case) and was isolated electrically from the heat sink. I've ordered the Denon replacements. Assuming the replacements have composition bodies is a heat sink compound such as Artic Silver which I use for computer processors OK for this application? Also, this unit was manufactured in China vs Japan. Have you noticed and differences in repair rates based on where they were manufactured. Thanks Again.
