Dental Fillings + Pain?

I had a filling this morning, and almost as soon as I left the dentist the numbing from the needle wore off, and the pain began to worsen, now its almost unbearable. How long after having a filling will I be sore for :(

  1. You should have a sore mouth but no pain, My suggestion is to go back to dentist. I have had 8 fillings done and the only thing I had after was a sore mouth by having it open for about 2hours. She would give me brakes every 45 minutes to help with the soreness. Or maybe you need to go to a different dentist if that dentist does not help you. Good Luck!


  2. mmm, when i had a filling i didnt have in injection, and it didnt hurt. I had 5 teeth out today, and the numbness from the injections wore off in about 6 n 1/2 hours. Im sore but its bearable, so i guess youll be fine in 1-3 days! :) x

  3. Well i had 2 fillings about a month ago and it hurt after wards because my mouth had been open for so long and also because they do drilling and stuff. hope this helps!

    PS take some tylenol
