Is it Quick? and does it take long before it heals?. Im due in two weeks to perform a singing debut in front of a huge audience and if i cant make it through my gums killing me, I will have let a lot of people down, as it is a charity event. I would appreciate any help out there, and thankyou all. Mr. MuZzY X

  1. Its still 2 weeks away. For pain , for sure you will be prescribed analgesics .Antibiotics too, if with infection.

It takes 48 hours for most antibiotics to control infection. You can still sing your heart out by then.

Not treating it at this time might be the reason why you will not be able to perform because of the pain of infection.

  2. It doesn't hurt that bad. You will be fine by the next day.

  3. once gone should be ok in a few days

  4. It is fairly quick and actually quite painless. Be sure to keep the area packed with gauze to avoid dry sockets. Use cold packs for 30 minutes at a time after the surgery to avoid swelling. The mouth heals quickly, so you'll be fine for your event. Good luck and I wish you a speedy recovery.
