Dental Question? As anyone ever had this before?

After having a tooth pulled have you ever got a knot small knot on your jaw? It does not hurt at all , i can push on it and still no pain , im worried that it might be a tumor , abscess or cyst!! Any help!!

no but check go to the doctor to make sure its not a build up of cancer

i got my wisdom teeth pulled about a month ago and recently i felt as if the side of my jaw was almost locked. i could only open my mouth a little bit and it was really scary. when i touched the side of my face, it felt swollen, and on the inside of my mouth it felt like a bump.

i waited a couple of days and it was gone. i am convinced that it was just part of the healing process, maybe something i did while it was healing that affected it.

i wouldn't worry about it being a tumor or anything like that,  but i would suggest waiting about 3 days (i think thats how long i had it for) and if it doesn't go away, call the orthodontist or dentist and get an x ray.

if you are really scared, call them as soon as possible and explain the situation. i'm sure it is nothing to worry about, but it is better to be safe.
