  1. Temp. cost about 100.00 and a permanent costs Upton 800.00 the difference is the material there made out of.


  2. Hi Hank,

    A temporary partial, or flipper, is usually made of all acrylic.  It is bulky, and not very strong, but looks nice.  Patients are usually told that flippers are for looks only, and not for eating.  These cost about $350 in Cen CA, and take a lab a day or two to make.  

    Permanent Partials are usually constructed with metal as their base (chromium cobalt) and acrylic.  Permanents are stronger and thinner.  They usually have clasps that grab adjacent teeth, and look like a spider out of the mouth.  These typically cost $1000, give or take, and take a lab two or three weeks to make...
