My 8 year old daughter has to have her first filling. The dentist said that the "cavity" is very very small. What is he going to do to her?

  1. STEPH, HE'LL DRILL OUT THE CAVITY AND PUT IN A FILLING

CHANCES ARE SHE WON'T NEED THE SHOT FOR  A SMALL CAVITY.

  2. My 5 year old son had to get his first TWO fillings a few months ago. I had taken him for his KG check-up, thinking everything would be okay.  I was so worried about him, and for him. All I could think of was the uncomfortableness of my fillings, and the metal-like taste afterwards. However, the process went perfectly smooth!! Like your dentist said about her cavity, childrens teeth in general are small, and therefore the process isn't as bothersome, or long!
