Dental fillings prices?

how much does it cost on average for a molar tooth filling, private or nhs? preferably a white filling.thank you for any feedback.

Depends on the area you live in and the dentist.

As a very rough guide my dentist charges £100 for that to be done privately.

You may also have to pay for x-ray and initial consultation

it really does depend on the dentist if private.I got charged £100 for a filling and only £80 for an extraction in two visits.There is also a charge for x rays and first exam and that was £55.It aint cheap my friend.Shop around and try to go nhs but its an uphill fight.Good hunting.

I have an NHS dentist - still cost me £55 for a white filling, plus £15.50 for the check-up (i think the non-white is £40)
