2 months ago I had a problem where my gum and tooth on the right-hand side were incredibly sensitive, but the hygienist put it down to possible sensitivity due to premenstrual cycle and the fact I have Chronic Fatigue (which can sometimes cause intolerance of pain and I also have NF). Sure enough when my cycle started the pain eased off. I had a follow-up appointment at the dentist and she said I had a loose tooth but at the time I had no pain and as this was only a 10 min appointment it was left and I was given another appointment for 19th Oct. The last few days though I've noticed the right side of my face swelling up and now tonight, I'm in agony with the same pain as before, yet I'm not due for a cycle for 4 weeks, so I can't see why it's happened again. The dentist didn't mention anything untoward when she took an x-ray so what can I do?..I'm not able to make the appointment earlier as I have 4 hospital appointments in the next month and she's onlyavailablee Thursdays..Is there any thing else you can suggest that I can do in the meantime as it's making me feel nauseous and making the CF more difficult as I'm constantly tired.
