Dental question? Please help!!!

I've been to the endodontist and he's told me that my crowned front tooth has gotta go because the post that was placed there a few years ago was too large and has cracked the tooth and now I have some bone loss. My best option is a dental implant, he says. Does anyone with dental experience out there agree that this is the best option? Does anyone know how much it costs for the entire procedure. I have an abscess that's formed on top of that tooth and it hurts when I accidentally chew on it.

You should look for another opinion if you seemed like not comfortable about it. It's a bit pricey but it's worth it. You have to go to a dentist so that they can diagnosed you if there's other problem in your teeth. It's better to be safe than sorry you know.

it's the best idea unless you get a bridge. in order form you dentist to do the bridge he has to crown the tooth on each side. it's cheaper then the implant which can run in upwards of $1,500. hope this helps
