Dental question? Please help!!!

I've been to the endodontist and he's told me that my crowned front tooth has gotta go because the post that was placed there a few years ago was too large and has cracked the tooth and now I have some bone loss. My best option is a dental implant, he says. Does anyone with dental experience out there agree that this is the best option? Does anyone know how much it costs for the entire procedure. I have an abscess that's formed on top of that tooth and it hurts when I accidentally chew on it.

  1. You should look for another opinion if you seemed like not comfortable about it. It's a bit pricey but it's worth it. You have to go to a dentist so that they can diagnosed you if there's other problem in your teeth. It's better to be safe than sorry you know.

  2. it's the best idea unless you get a bridge. in order form you dentist to do the bridge he has to crown the tooth on each side. it's cheaper then the implant which can run in upwards of $1,500. hope this helps
