Dentall Hygienist....?

I'm going to school to be a dental assistant and I plan to go back to school to become a dental hygienist. i know dental assistants can work without becoming registered here in california... can dental hygienists do the same? can they just work as a dental hygienist and not as a registered dental hygienist?

  1. No you must be a RDH to practice.  you need to pass the California Registered Dental Hygiene State Board Examination.
