Denver Broncos OT Ryan Clady says offence going back to a more traditional form with QB Peyton Manning
Denver Broncos are moving back towards a more traditional offence now that four-time Most Valuable Player (MVP) Peyton Manning is calling the shots at quarterback.
That change from the unconventional Tim Tebow who has joined the Jets, has led to a new wave of optimism among Broncos fans and players about their prospects in the new season.
Tebow led Denver to the divisional round of the playoffs last year with some epic comeback performances yet realistically with him at quarterback, the Broncos fans were never optimistic about their chances of finally getting to the Super Bowl.
Unlike Tebow, Manning is one of the best quarterbacks to ever play the game and his arrival together with the implementation of a new offence that takes advantage of his brilliant pass accuracy has led to increased expectations and Broncos players as well
as fans are hopeful they can make a tilt at the Super Bowl this year.
Offensive tackle, Ryan Clady is one of those who is excited about the future with Manning at quarterback.
Speaking after playing with kids at a youth training camp on Saturday, Clady said.
"It's kind of going back to what we did before, for the most part, before Tebow was the quarterback, just more conventional offense,"
Adding further he said.
“It’s a little different. We will probably pass the ball a little more and [be] more of a balanced offense. But I’m excited to see what is going to happen, and I’m excited for the future.”
There is no player in Denver who is not excited to see what the franchise will achieve with Manning. The four-time MVP has a Super Bowl ring to his name and is a sure fire future Hall of Famer.
This will be the first time Manning will not don the Indianapolis Colts horseshoe after spending 14 seasons at the franchise.
This time round he will wear the Broncos Orange and White and Clady believes that Manning will definitely help the Broncos offence to reach new heights.
"Knowing everything, knowing what everyone is doing on the field. He's definitely going to make our offense better, for sure."
The legendary quarterback will once again take to the field next year and it will be hugely exciting to see Manning showcase his brilliant talents once again.
