Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas says he is learning from QB Peyton Manning - NFL News
Quarterback, Peyton Manning’s arrival at the Denver Broncos in the offseason has got both the players and fans excited for the upcoming season.
Manning brings experience and leadership to the franchise that former quarterback, Tim Tebow could never bring and that is the main reason everyone with a stake in the franchise is so optimistic about the years ahead.
Wide receiver, Demaryius Thomas has already started seeing Manning as a coach and after training for an extended time with the quarterback feels that this season he will have one of the best seasons of his career.
Talking with the team’s official website, Thomas lavished praise on Manning.
“Everybody knows he’s one of the best in the game, a future Hall of Famer,”
He continued further.
“I feel like just being out there with him, it helped because it seemed like he knew what was going on. He answered questions and he was like another coach because I was learning stuff from him that I didn’t know. I feel like he’s going to help me out this
year.”
The quarterback has had a big impact since his arrival at the franchise and has worked hard in training with his new teammates to get on the same page.
The Broncos will install a new hurry-up offence this season to take advantage of Manning’s amazing abilities.
Thomas also added that he is looking for an injury free season this year.
“I feel like I’m coming in this year being in great shape, no injuries and I feel like the confidence is going to build up and build up.”
With a four-time Most Valuable Player (MVP) leading the offence this season the Broncos are right to feel confident about their chances in the upcoming season.
Last year the team went 8-8 with quarterback, Tim Tebow at the helm and won the American Football Conference (AFC) West division championship after some very close fourth quarter victories.
This year though the franchise is looking to grab even bigger prizes and confidence is high in the Mile High City that their new quarterback can lead the franchise back to Super Bowl glory.
