Denver Broncos running back Knowshon Moreno feels good at 26-13 win against Oakland Raiders – NFL News
Denver Broncos running back Knowshon Moreno has expressed delight on winning Week 14 game against Oakland Raiders.
On Friday while giving an interview, Moreno seemed happy and satisfied with his superb performance in the game.
Moreno had career-high 32 carries for 119 yards and scored one touchdown during Thursday night’s victory.
According to Moreno, it is always a tough environment on road, and winning there definitely makes you feel good.
He said:
“You want to be a road warrior,”
Moreno mentioned that they were preparing mentally and physically for the game throughout the week.
He added:
“Preparing ourselves to go into a hostile environment and try to come out with a win when the team is going to give it all they have.”
According to Broncos’ website, linebacker D.J. Williams shared his views about the divisional games.
He said:
“We haven’t swept them in many years. Just like a few weeks ago, playing Kansas City, when you’re playing divisional games the records mean nothing.”
Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning, who signed his five-year contract in 2012 said:
“I’m new to the division, (but) there are great rivalries and tradition,”
He completed 26 of 36 passes for 310 yards and scored one touchdown with an interception.
Manning was a risk for Broncos because he missed the National Football League (NFL) 2011 season due to his two major neck surgeries. But he proved himself as an amazing player.
He was originally drafted by Indianapolis Colts as a first overall pick in the 1998 NFL draft, and played 14 seasons with them.
Broncos are heading towards the next game at Baltimore. Ravens are leading American Football Conference (AFC) North.
According to the veteran quarterback, Ravens are good team and playing at their home will be tough.
Sharing his views about the Week 15 game, he said:
“Baltimore has been good since I’ve been in the NFL. I think it’d be a good test for us. We talk about getting better. We get better each week and we’ll see what happens from there.”
