Denwill Star to lead the Williamhill.Com Standard at Newcastle on 12th May
Newcastle will stage the Williamhill.Com Standard over 480 metres flat on Saturday, 12th May. Competing for the £150 prize money are Blue Artisan, Witton Flyer, Bower Impact, Denwill Star, Fifis Romeo and Mill Spartacus.
Leading with the best credentials is Denwill Star, Ballymac Maeve’s three-year-old fawn son out of b***h, Risk The Town.
He finished third in the seasonal debut on 5th January in the Grade A1 Bet On Your Mobile At Williamhill.Com at Newcastle over 480 metres. The evening’s favourite took 29.28 seconds to finish the race that was won by Must Be Ruby in 28.90 seconds.
Denwill Star’s first victory of the season was in the Grade A1 William Hill Hotbox Bet Stakes on 28th January at Newcastle over 480 metres. The 5/4 favourite of the race timed the track distance in 29.16 seconds and led the runner up, Fagans Kiko,
by 4 ¼ seconds.
Finishing third behind the winner was Shiloh Supreme.
Denwill Star continued with the winning streak for the next four races too and stretched the count till five.
He then stumbled onto fifth position in the Stadium Bookmakers Maiden Sprint on 5th March at Nottingham over 305 metres after taking 19.10 seconds. The race was won by the 6/4 favourite of the race, Jumeirah Dubai, who clocked the track distance
in 18.35 seconds.
Denwill Star was the 7/4 favourite winner of the Grade IR Easter Bunny Standard Heat Two on 13th March at Newcastle after reaching the other end of the wire in 28.90 seconds.
Instantly after that he became the 5/4 winner of the Grade IR Bags/Sis Easter Bunny Standard Final on 17th March at Newcastle over 480 metres.
This time he could not achieve a hat trick as he finished fifth in the Grade IR Bags/Sis Easter Bunny Standard Final – Division A on 6th April at Swindon over 480 metres.
On 21st April Denwill Star won the Grade A1 William Hill Supporting Racing Post TV Stakes at Newcastle over 480 metres by timing the distance in 29.22 seconds.
Most recent and till yet the last win was in the Grade A1 Williamhill.Com Stakes on 5th may at Newcastle over 480 metres by reaching the other end of the wire in 28.96 seconds.
His victory tonight is inevitable.
