  1. The number one reason to getting denied is because of an illegitimate relationship. If you don't have enough evidence of the relationship (I-130 through marriage) then you will be requested to give more information & if then there still isn't enough, then you'll be denied. Foreigners are using naive Americans for green cards everyday.. this is a huge problem & although they are getting pretty good at finding these people.. many people still fool them & get away with it. Never lie about anything!! If your relationship is true & you have done everything properly.. there is no reason to be nervous. I've been through the green card process and although it was stressful, we had nothing to hide!

  2. Is she sponsoring you, or other way around? when the applicant goes to the interview for the visa, remember to match you info to whatever was on the application. Too many time you picture a different situation from you paperwork and tell a different scenario to the Consular.

It will be alright, but if it did get denied, you can always appeal.

  3. If you case is denied, it will probably be because your fiance didn't pass the background check or health screening or drug test.

  4. The only reason your finace visa might be denied is because  he does not earn enough money to support you as a wife. I believe the minimum is $ 12,000 a year.If he doesn't make 12,000 a year you can get 2nd sponsor, a family member, combined income (your husband's and a family member)= 12,000.

INS will not deny your case without firm proof that you don't qualify. If they have doubts they will send you a letter stating their  concerns and give you a chance to reply, if it's denied again, you can always appeal again.

  5. During the interview, it is imperative that you answer every question truthfully. One thing the consuls hate are conflicting information. It doesn't really reflect "potential model citizen" if you've outright lied on your application. You know what I mean.

You say you have everything together right? then I wouldn't be too worried abut it. Hope this helps =)

  6. Many...your case can be denied if...

    1.  Your health exam shows you have had children

    2.  If the embassy receives documentation showing you've had a live birth

    3.  If the embassy receives documentation showing you're married and you can't show an annulment or divorce decree

    4.  If you can't convince the consular that you have a legitimate relationship..meaning his plane tickets, pictures, hotel receipts, etc.

    5.  If your police screening shows subversive or criminal history, including terrorism (if you are on the terrorist watch list)

    6.  If you are a document member of certain radical extremist groups.

    7.  If your fiancee has commited certain crimes, esp domestic violence, sexual offense, or even owes back aggregage for child support payments he owes.

    8.  If you met through an online matching service (like a mail order bride service).

  7. Maybe you should be listening to your own subconscious mind and inner wisdom warning you that something is wrong here and you should not be doing this.  Your "gut feeling" ain't all that dumb!  You know when something is not right and when you are headed in the wrong direction.  Listen to your intuition, and get out of this -- something is not right.
