Question:

Deodorant not working in high heat?

I've tried all sorts of different brands but nothing seems to help. I work in a factory so it's been 90 degrees or higher sometimes. My normal stuff wears off after an hour or so. What can I do?

  1. use secret to keep your b.o. secrets a secret!

  2. re apply re apply re apply. take a shower before you go into work also. wear light colored shirts and wear lighter fabrics like not cotton because that's kinda heavy. also if you wear a shirt that it's noticeable that your sweating then wear a tank top under it i suggest a white tank top b/c it's lighter colored so it wont be as hot and b/c black would show that your sweating to. and if you wear the tank top then make sure it's super thin like so thin you could almost see through it b/c then it will be lighter. but not to thin the objective of the tank top is to pick up some of the sweat. and like i said re-apply every chance you get.

    hope i helped. :)

  3. you just have to constantly reapply it. the same thing happens to me when i am in a game or practice for volleyball.

  4. have you tried certain dri? You can also talk to a dermatologist. There may be some prescription antiperspirants. Botox can be injected under the arm, but I believe it is for people who suffer from hyperhydrosis day in and day out.

  5. hmm my sitch is kinda like yours.

but i dont work in a factory.

    i use certain dri.

yah. the commercial was really dumb but when i tried it it actually works. what it does is shrink your i guees"poors"(i don't know what there called exactly) in your armpits during the night so in the morning your good to go.but i usually just put on normal good smelling deodorant on in the morning 2.

i havnt been in such high temperatures since i started usind it but ik it will most definetly stop, or@ lease decrease the amount u sweat!

  6. try secret platinum jasmine orient

  7. It's a good thing that it doesn't work that well.  Deodorants work by plugging up the pores in your skin.  If they worked so well that you didn't sweat even in high heat conditions, your glands in your arm pits would get messed up from not being able to secrete the sweat.  Most deodorants also have aluminum and other chemicals in them that are absorbed into your body.  Years of deodorant use can make you really sick.  Stop using it.  Shower after you get done at the factory.
