Depo shot sucks why cant I get pregnant!!!!!!!!!!?

This is dumb , how many girls do you think they told will never be able to get pregnant after useing the depo shot

? I want another baby and i ONLY HAD 3 SHOTS ! and still cant get pregnant after 3 years anyt suggestions?

I was on the shot for over 3 yrs. My last injection was November of 2004. I am still not able to get pregnant. This is VERY common when coming off of the Depo shot. I had a daughter before I took the shot, so I know the problem is not me. I do not think you need to see a specialist-they will probably tell you that you just need to wait it out. I have had tests done, and everything checks out. Unfortunately, this is a side effect that the doctors neglected to tell us about. Now we can just wait. We WILL end up pregnant someday! ;)

I don't know if that is the cause.  Does you doctor say that is the reason?

Hi, I took this also just once and I couldnt get pregnant for over a year. I went back to my doctor after about  8months of trying and he put me on the pill (Levlen ED) for 2months ONLY and 2 months after coming off the pill we fell pregnant with our second daughter! He put me on the pill so the hormones in it could even my exsisting hormone levels out so i could conceive again. I suggest going back to your doctor and asking what your GP thinks is right for you.

I would go to a reproductive specialist to find out why you are infertile, rather then blame the shot.

Go in for fertility testing and see if there is anything else wrong.
