Deported from new zealand?

Hi. I got deprted from nz due to some immigration problems. Didnt commit any criminal offence and I got deported in 2003, all I would like to knw when can ig go back to nz and will i ever be allowed in nz country again.

Please Help.

  3. If you were aged 17 or older when you were deported, the normal period for which an order remains in  force is five years. If you were under 17 years old the order remains in force only until you are deported.

    The link below gives you access to the relevant NZ regulations. Section D4.20 and subsequent paragraphs cover this aspect.

    Depending on the circumstances of your case and your current situation, it is still possible that you will be allowed to return, but I wouldn't try just turning up at an NZ port. Towards the end of 2008, try contacting and discussing the matter with the NZ Embassy/High Commission in your country.
