  1. They will issue account number and information detail on how to transfer the money to your account once the account is open.

If you not sure what is your account number give them a call, they will tell you and walk through with you on how to transfer your money to your commsec account.

    Hope it helps.

    Cheers

  2. you DONT deposit into a Commsec account through Quick Deposit Boxes!!!

You CAN call 132221 to find out info about it, or online to Commsec and they will step you through it. Or you can go to a branch and the staff should be able to help you also.

  3. Quick deposit boxes

A quick deposit box is located in every Commonwealth Bank branch and provides a fast, safe and simple way to deposit cheques into your account.

The advantages of quick deposit boxes include:

Same day processing - all deposits are processed that day so your funds will be available quickly

Quick and secure - no need to wait

Ease of use - simply remove the record slip, then put the form and cheque in the envelope and drop it into the box

Record slip - retain this as a record of your deposit

You can save even more time by taking extra deposit envelopes home with you. That way you can do the 'paperwork' beforehand.

You'll find a quick deposit box at your nearest Commonwealth Bank branch, or for more information, call 13 2221,
