I have a wamu (Washington Mutual) bank account and I want to deposit some change and a few dollar bill into my account. I have counted all the coins and separate them all. Is there a process you have to go through to do this, like put through a coin counting machine? and do they charge a fee to do this?

  1. They have to be neatly rolled, it would probably be better to exchange them for bills before depositing.

  2. Some banks will not accept coins that are not wrapped.  You should call your local branch and find out what they require.
